Niki & Dionne

The Curtiss Team
In today's high tech real estate industry, Realtors are finding out that in order to be competitive in the marketplace, they have to be very accessible day or night. This can be difficult for some agents who work alone, and can cause frustration for both the agent and their clients. We, The Curtiss Team, have learned the art of teamwork, enabling us to offer our clients the highest level of service possible, seven days a week.

Each member of The Curtiss Team brings unique experiences and background to the group. Niki, together with her husband Harry, started in the real estate business in the early 1960's, by purchasing a variety of apartment buildings, residential rentals, and vacation condominiums on the south coast of England. Their daughter, Dionne, brings her understanding of diverse cultures and languages; which culminated in her graduation from the University of Bristol, England in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts in Hispanic and Latin American Studies and retaining a fluency in Spanish. Natalie, Harry and Niki's younger daughter, is also licensed in real estate and lives in Colorado with her husband, Ken, and stepson, Luc.

Our family relocated from England to California in 1984, and settled in the beautiful Conejo Valley to pursue a lifestyle of sunshine and outdoor activities. When not engaged in selling real estate, we enjoy a variety of interests and hobbies. Niki loves tennis, bridge, dancing and traveling. She and Harry are members at the Pacific Club where they spend times relaxing together. Dionne enjoys the Sunset Hills Country Club, the gym, entertaining and traveling to Europe, South America and the Caribbean with her husband, Carlo, (who is a commercial real estate consultant), and their two daughters, Gabriella and Isabella.

In 1987, we established a unique three member real estate team, (Harry retired in 2003). We feel so fortunate to be able to work together as a family, living within a couple of miles of each other in Thousand Oaks. This makes it very easy to facilitate our teamwork concept. Not only can we share responsibilities and take advantage of our unique personal strengths to the greater benefit of our clients, but because we are family, we have a deeper desire than most individuals to see each other succeed. Because so many of our friends have become clients and vice versa, our business and social lives are intricately intertwined and therefore, it is not only imperative to us that we always deliver the highest level of ethical and honest service, but we desire to do whatever it takes to ensure that our friends and clients get the best service.

The Curtiss Team specializes in the following areas: Calabasas, Agoura, Oak Park, Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Simi Valley, Moorpark, Santa Rosa Valley, and Camarillo. While working with a client who desires a location outside of their area of expertise, the team joins forces with a fellow agent who specializes in the client's desired location offering the same level of excellence. The two main sources of our business are referrals from past clients, friends and associates and corporate relocation, such as AMGEN and Countrywide.

We have been located in the same office since 1989 and enjoyed each transition; cultivating many friendships and clients; expanding from a local company (Brown Realtors), to a regional one (Fred Sands Realtors) and now to an internationally recognized real estate brokerage, Keller Williams.
